Cliff,
I did find a solution here. I'm basically linking
a cell for example A5 of one file to cell D6 of
another file. I was looking in Excel's help which
takes you out on the net and it was of little
help. Then I just Googled and found out it is very simple. In case interested:
1. Open both files
2. Highlight and copy using CTRL C, the cell or
group of cells, you want to link.
3. Go to your other file and find the place you want to link it.
4. Use the apps key, arrow down to and select
Paste Special by pressing enter on it.
5. Shift Tab once to paste link, hit enter.
That's it. I originally was looking in the Paste
Special options but didn't tab to find another area .
Thanks.
Brad

Hello, Brad:
Please give me a discription, using cell
references, so as to have a better idea of what you have in mind.
I think I have the idea, but I'm not sure.
