I do not deal with bookshare anymore unless I need to download books for kids here at work. If memory serves, I think folks must be legally blind, so I don't think sighted folk can use bookshare unless they are a teacher for the blind.
The school here has an account set up, so I was asked to download a book, flip it over to print so the parents can read along with their child. I asked for help because I have Duxbury and all that stuff here at work but when I was trying to work on it last night, I was at home and had nothing to work with. Good question though, maybe someone will have an answer or provide more clarification. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Tom Vos Sent: Thursday, December 15, 2011 11:27 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [Blind-Computing] Wondering about changing brf for sighted person I thought we signed up for Book Share as blind persons. Can a sighted person do that too? If not, it seems to me that we would violate the agreement by giving Book Share books to sighted persons. How does this work?
