Hi Brad & Gerald,

I would like to thank you both very much. Especially since this is an off
topic post! Brad, your steps worked great but, I won't know if the battery
is actually taking the charge for a few hours. Gerald, thank you for the
Bard List info. Take care.
Mike

Start with player off, then press rewind+sleep+tone down then press and
hold
the power button for about 2 seconds then release the power button. This
will bring up a menu then use either the rewind or fast forward arrow to
get
to battery then press play. That takes you to statistics then press fast
forward arrow once and that goes to initiate battery recharge. Press play
here. If you get the battery recharge initiated message go ahead and turn
the player off. Make sure the player is plugged in. ALso make sure you
have
the latest firmware for the player.
