You can learn some on your own. Try googlingh for some information. there
are many different programming languages, some are sort of obsolete but they
are still all pretty much used for one thing or another. My first language
was Basic and I have a friend who started with Basic then went to DOS and
now uses Rex. My uncle worked in many including Cobalt, fortran, basic, dos
and several others.
