You can Google System Information for Windows (SIW) and it might be able to
find your passwords for you.

There is a password section in the tree view.

I don't remember where IE stores them, but you can't access or read
them...the whole point of a password is that they're invisible. Yes, when
you clear out your IE files or run a programme like CCleaner your passwords
may get deleted. Always make sure to have them written down somewhere is the
best advice anyone can give.
