Yes, I think it does.
It works for sure with Office Outlook and Mozilla Thunderbird.

Hi all,
I am currently looking for another email service other than G Mail, and I
would like to know if anyone has any ideas? I am currently using Outlook
Express and hope to continue using it, but even a web email service would
be
fine as long as it is accessible. I've tried hotmail and Yahoo, but they
seem to be harder to use and always seem to be changing the interface and
layout.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
