Hi Rick,
I restarted the first time, then did reboot and neither worked.
However, I have a friend who uses Internet speech. I asked him to send me
an e-mail and when I opened the attachment to listen WMP worked fine. Then
I tried the stream on the radio station again. It worked fine.
I can't figure that one out.

Hello list,
This afternoon I ripped some songs from a few different CD’s and then
burned them to a blank disc. After I was done burning the disc, I closed
WMP. Two hours later I tried to stream a radio station. As soon as I hit
enter on launch WMP, the stream stopped and JAWS announced that WMP has
closed.
I did rip and burn a disc about two months ago and the same thing
happened when I tried to launch WMP for streaming a couple days later. The
problem seemed to fix itself and all was fine.
Does anyone have any suggestions as what the problem could be?
I would greatly appreciate any help.
