Hi
You had me wondering too. So I did a web search and found the
following.
" operating system. The use of the "INI file" has been changed in Windows in
favor of the
registry,
and deprecated in .NET in favor of XML .config files. The name "INI file"
comes from the
filename extension
usually used, ".INI", that stands for "initialization". Sometimes a
different file extension will be used instead of .ini, such as ".CFG",
".conf", or
".TXT"."
I am not sure if this helps but it is a start.

God bless,
Mark

Listers,
Will someone please tell me how to stop these files from showing up in
folders all over my computer? Infact, what are they and what do they mean?
They are even showing up in my music folder?
Thanks to all.
