Hi niam and everyone,
I've been using thunderbird for more than 2 years and i love it so much.
With the scripts written by Jamal Masrui, it just works like a charm. I
used thunderbird 3.0.4 for a long time because i heard that there were
some accessibility probllems in the latest versions. However, around 2
weeks ago, i upgraded to TB version 11.0 and it's working just good,
except from a few tiny bugs like not reporting the from field if I press
alt + 1 or alt + shift + f...
I am using jaws 13 on a windows 7, 32 bit machine.
If you want the scripts, download them from here:
http://EmpowermentZone.com/tb_scr30.zip
After installing them, press F11 while in thunderbird to check if there
is an update to the scripts.
Ah, i forgot to say that Once you're done installing the scripts, you
should watch for a webpage that will open automatically in your default
browser. Read it carefully as it contains all what you need to configure
the program properly..
I tried it with NVDA as well and didn't notice any issues

You might try Mozilla Thunderbird. It's put out by the Fire Fox people.
