Probably more than you would ever need actually. Honestly I do not know if there is an upper limit but I have three of them on my 7 system and have never had an issue at all.
Along with the internal I have two USB cards on there, one external is for JAWS and the other is a USB headset with microphone. So the short answer is go for it my friend.
