Hello my dear friend, You can use word count in Ms-word. you have to press CTRL+shift+g to activate this feature. Take JAWS cursor and read all the text with the help of arrow keys. If you want to count the words of particular group of text in your file then first of all you have to select the text about which you want to get information regarding word count. Use normal commands to select the text and after that perform word count feature by pressing CTRL+Shift+G and read all the text with the JAWS cursor by using arrow keys. I am sure about performing this feature with this command in Ms-word but I don't know any method for counting words in wordpad.
