Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] Imbedding a sound in a webpage

Are you sure that you want it to play automatically? Before I had two sound
cards, one dedicated to JAWS, I immediately closed web sites that started
talking or playing music. Many of the sites the volume was higher than jaws
and I could not hear jaws. So I got into the practice that if a site starts
playing I immediately closed it.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Imbedding a sound in a webpage

Hi
I have been working on adding sound to my webpage. Right now I have a
welcome message one can play by clicking a link. However, I want my short
welcome message to play automatically once when the page loads. I tried
using the <sound> tag, and Now, I have the <imbed> tag installed. Neither
one is working. I used the prewritten code I found on a webpage. I was
wondering what I am doing wrong? What do I do to fix it?
