Thanks guys, maybe some day I'll learn more about JAVA scripting. For now I'll stick to working on simply modifying code written by others to suit my purposes. I just didn't like the way it said your clip board was vulnerable when nothing was retrieved from it. Hi David, Yes sir, you did yourself proud! It works just fine. Thanks much, take care. Mike ----- Original Message ----- From: David Ferrin To: [email protected] Sent: Monday, May 21, 2012 11:24 AM Subject: [Blind-Computing] testing some scripting Not too long ago somebody posted an address for a page to test if your clip board was vulnerable or not. Well I took it upon myself to correct some of the internal code on that page and post it on my own site. The code displayed a warning message stating your clip board was accessed even when it wasn't, so what I did was to make it show nothing when it couldn't be accessed and show the contents of the clip board only when it was accessed. It seems to be working as I want it to but if a couple of you would test it out I would appreciate it. http://www.jaws-users.com/text/Internet/ClipBoardCodeTest.html Mind you what I know about that kind of scripting is quite limited but figuring out somebody else's code is a lot easier than coming up with something original. It is actually linked from a page that is labeled something like clip board security or close to that any way. It is under the internet heading on tips and tricks.
