Hi Lennie,

I'm not sure what you're using now, but perhaps you might want to go with the Logitech Ak5370. It costs about $30. The nice thing about it is that it has a plug-and-play design, so you simply plug it into a USB port on your computer and you're ready to go. It can easily fit on a desk because its base is optimal for this type of setup. I personally despise its plastic and flimsy design, but if you're just looking to get yourself heard without any real issues then this might be a good choice.

Hi,

I currently have a microphone that I use to record with GoldWave. However, I practically have to have my mouth right at the microphone to get any kind of a recording. I have the volume level set to 100% and the result could hardly be heard and I have to set the volume to maximum in GoldWave to get a loud enough volume. If I want to record a conversation with another person, my microphone is not capable for that.

So, what microphone does anyone suggest that recording two or more people or even recording a tutorial with Jaws will be heard? I am hoping for a suggestion that is not too expensive. Thanks.

Take care.

Lennie
