Lenny,
Olympus has a whole line of microphones of different types and for varying
purposes. They range in price from about $50 up to the hundreds.
Below, you will find the link for the site.

There's a key word search and you can type in microphones.
Olympus divides the equipment by price as well as intended use.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Recommendation for a microphone

Hi,

I currently have a microphone that I use to record with GoldWave.
However, I practically have to have my mouth right at the microphone to get
any kind of a recording. I have the volume level set to 100% and the result
could hardly be heard and I have to set the volume to maximum in GoldWave to
get a loud enough volume. If I want to record a conversation with another
person, my microphone is not capable for that.

So, what microphone does anyone suggest that recording two or more people or
even recording a tutorial with Jaws will be heard? I am hoping for a
suggestion that is not too expensive. Thanks.

Take care.

Lennie
