[Blind-Computing] When and how do i use the JAWS cursor?

I’m a self taught JAWS user, and not too sure when or how to use the JAWS 
cursor. I’ve openned many emails being told that “ it’s a back and forth 
JAWS/PC cursor “ thing. I’d really like some help in knowing when switching to 
the JAWS cursor is needed, and how to navigate a page with it. Thanks, Tom
