These are the exact settings I am using successfully with several gmail accounts. I have included every check box. I am using WLM 2011, Windows 7 and Jaws 11.

On the servers tab
My incoming server is a pop3
Incoming server is: pop.gmail.com
Outgoing server is: smtp.gmail.com
user name-the following format only sends recent emails that have not been previously downloaded and not the whole gmail inbox
on my computer it is
recent:[email protected]

Log on using clear text authentication is checked
My server requires  authentication is checked.

In the settings button the use same settings as my incoming server is checked.

On the Advanced tab:
My outgoing server is 587 since I am using Verizon FIOS
This server requires a secure SSL connection is checked.

Incoming is  995
This server requires a secure connection is checked.

You need to have the checkbox checked;
My server requires authentication
Also, are you using a pop3 or IMAP,
This will change the port settings a little.

Using JFW 12 in Windows 7 with WLM, I am having a problem with the settings
for gMail.  I am able to send email, but cannot receive it.

Pleas, can someone help me with this?

I looked at the settings for gMail in WLM and it looks as if I have
everything correct, yet I still can't receive email.

What am I doing wrong?
