Dear Hareth ,
Thanks, that worked, you made it very clear and straight to the point!
I use Chat rooms much more than Skype, and I use different sound recording programs, so I do not need anything interfering with my microphone settings.

Much appreciated.

alt+t to open the tools then,
arro down or up to find (options)
then arro down to find (audio settings)
press the tab here to find the check mark, its like this,(automaticly
adjust my microphone settings)
uncheck it s mark, and tab to the save button & press it

Dear Friends,
I cannot get my microphone recording to respond to the level I want in the
Recording software program I am using, nor on some Chat List recording
rooms I am trying to use.
I was told by a couple of people to "Turn Offer actually unchecked, "
automatic Microphone Level setting" in my Skype program options.
But they just told me to tab around to find that feature, which I do not
like to just go tabbing around in a program that took me so long to get set
up exactly like I want it.

Can anyone please give me a bit of instructions on where I would find the
check box that I need to unchecked to get my Skype not to set Microphone
Setting levels automatically?

Any help of course will be greatly appreciated!
