Hi Mark,
This is the topic last month.
I can now sign. But all banks I ask for opening an account require me to write full name below the signature.
Do you do this step yourself or you ask a sighted write your full name?
My name include 3 words, these are 12 characters (don't include space.) To write it, I think I may begin Alphabet again in normal paper not Braille. It's funny. Hahaha,
Nam
Thank you,

Hi
Well, I was taught a basic signature that I can write on paper
documents. This does require having someone you trust to read the documents
to you and to show you where to sign. You can by an inexpensive signature
guide, or just have the person at the counter set the credit card at the
bottom of the signature area. This works for bank papers, and other
documents. There is no reason to have a sighted person on your account with
you unless you want them to be.
Now then, the above part has little to do with computers. However, this
part is more computers oriented for the list. Personally, I use banks that
let me do most of my banking online. That way I can keep a tight watch on my
money. Most credit card companies in the USA let you manage your account
online as well. What you will need is a reliable person to read the
information like account numbers as you are setting up your accounts. Once
they are set up, you can then reset your passwords for your privacy.
It is true that in the days before the computer one may have needed a
sighted person on the account with you However, Thanks to the computer, and
the internet, blind people are living mostly independent lives.
    I hope this helps.

God bless,
Mark

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Credict Card for online purchasing

Hello all,
I'd like to make a credict card.
But I have a trouble with the signature in document papers.
HSBC Vietnam suggest me that I should have a sighted account owner help me
to do it. They mean the sighted person will be the responsible person, he /
she signs in document compact. Hence, I am just a user. However, I don't
like this way since I have to much depend on a owner. Now I'm waiting them
for asking their upper posisions.

Anyone could tell me how you can own credict cards and bank accounts?

Thank you very much,

Nam
