Thanks for the reply. I managed to get the printers working, and the
computers talking to one another. The way you have to set up the printer is
not at all what I thought it would be. I managed to get it to work. Took a
lot of research, and patients though.

Are you using a router
on your xp machine, is file and print sharing enabled

Hi folks! I want to be able to print to my braille and print printers
from my windows 7 machine. I've tried to set up my printers, but I can't
get windows 7 to work properly. I can see the printer names, but when I
go to them, I get a message saying windows can't connect to the printer.
