What I have done was to unzip it then put the unzipped one into my folder.
Hope it'll work for you.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] NLS and Write Protected
I downloaded 3 NLS books from BARD to copy to and unzip to the book
cartridge. I've done this a score of times. Today, however, when I tried,
I received a "disk is write-protected" error. I was instructed to unprotect
the disk/device..
I used to know how to do that with floppy disks. I've never seen that error
on a USB device and, certainly, never on a NLS cartridge.
I'm sure this is not a cartridge with a prerecorded book from NLS. It has
the last book I downloaded still on it.
Do I need to do something in the NLS player?
Any ideas?
