Hi all, never mind replying to my previous message I fixed the problem, I do not know how I did it but I did. thanks in advance to anyone who may have replied to my previous message ---original message--- hi all using the free eddition of avast 7.0 usually every morning my avast program virus data base updates but this morning it did not. was there a virus data base update for this morning which is the fourth of october? because when I tried updating the virus definitions this morning manually it tells me that the virus data base is already up to date. I find that kind of odd because every morning there is an update to the virus data base.
