Hi Trish,
Try plugging in a USB speaker, or headset.
Windows and Jaws will take the last audio device installed as the default.
If you get speech, then you can go back to where you made the change, and
undo it.
HTH,
Rick Justice

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Getting Speech back on Win-7

Need to know how to do this please?

The laptop uses Real TEck and by making a poor choice of using the Digital
output in the sounds setting on the control panel, now no speech or windows
sound for the laptop running windows 7, really need to know how to get it
back please?

Thanks,

Trish
