You got one on me, I have not tried to network a scanner before. I knew it was possible and supposedly optical drives as well but something I have not attempted. Printers are no problem at all on the other hand. Thanks, this is something to ponder. Hi. I have 2 hp scanners, the hp Scanjet g3110 I believe and the hp officejet pro 8600 which is an all in one. They both work well with my windows 7 machine. The officejet I use as a network scanner. I also have a plustek which no longer works. I have a Visioneer One Touch 7300 scanner that I used with XP and Text Cloner Pro. I wanted to move the scanner to my Windows 7 computer along withthe the Text Cloner Pro, but it appears the scanner will not work with Windows 7. I cannot find any updated drivers for the Visioneer 7300, so was curious what brand of scanner folks are using with Windows 7?
