just reinstalled windows Service pack 3 for windows xp. when i went into
control pannel and looked for speech properties option didn't see it. now

If you don't have service pack 3 then your system is several years out of
date. It's not supposed to show up in control panel FYI.

downloading windows xp sp3 to see if that fixes issue. will keep you
ifnormed if that does the trick or not if not ican do a restore to 12/15
sincesapi was working for kitchen inc games.
