Hello Rick, this laptop has no FN key that one could use n combination
with
the function keys as do my Inspiron netbook.

This was there before I experienced the password problem I had last week
so
not sure if somehow this has been removed.

Want to get it back of would appreciate any work-a-round to turn off that
annoying touchpad that take me all over a document when I am typing.

Hi Steve,
Have you looked in the user's manual?
More than likely, you can toggle this
using the F/N key with one of the function keys.
