Tom, you will have to direct it to go to a different folder if you make one on your desktop like you said. Otherwise, it goes to the default location/folder. Now of course, you can always move it from one folder to another folder.

If you are using Windows 7, use your windows key and put in the word download in the edit box. You should find your books in the download file that shows up. After entering, to acknowledge your desire to download, you nedd to tab, twice more, to where it will ask in which folder you wish to download to.
