Each sound card has it's own set of speakers and the speakers have a volumcontrol on the side. I have the speakers with the controls both aarm's length away. One is only for jaws and the other is for everything else.

Lenny, how do you quickly turn up the speaker volume? I need to turn it down
on a program so I can hear JAWS 12. I am using Windows 7 as my os.
Thanks very much.

Are you sure that you really want to do that? If you are sending it to
someone not using screen readers it is fine. Until I added a second sound
card any email or a web page that played music was immediately ignored.
Sometimes the music was louder than jaws and it was not worth the hassle of
trying to read and block out the music. Now some web sites, very few, when
the music starts the esc key will silence the music. With the two sound
cards the music is so low in the background that it does not interfere and
in the case of some instructional information I can quickly turn up the
speaker volume.
