Hi, The answers to questions 2 and 3 seem to be that's just the way the game is. I experience those issues too.
I've got 1680 in storage. Check Quests and Boosts under the castle section to find ways to make things cheaper. As for question 1, is your phone muted? I think I didn't have sound in the game once and that was the reason.
