Hi Lori

Actually, the music on the podcast about mota was from the access collective,
which are a set of podcasts done by Barry elice aka skallagrigg, the
webmaster of oneswitch.org.uk which does for physically impared gamers what
audiogames.net does for vi ones.

He was the one who arranged the demos and added the music.

Unfortunately, I can’t play on headphones because I haven’t ever worked out how
to get my computer to record my voice, and the computer’s output, and still
play through headphones, it’s all a bit of a confusion.
Hell, I haven’t even got the stand mikes I bought to work normally on windows
10 with kortana or anything else, so dont’ ask me.

I recorded the podcasts with a very old, but still very functional Rowland r09
digital sterrio recorder, which is why I used speakers, and that is likely
what I’d use again since the world of audio recording is a bloody confusing one
to me (hell as I said Iam most disappointed with window’s ten’s attempt at a
siri like intervface given it doesn’t even recognize the mikes let alone get
any sound from them).

So, if I do another odcast it’ll have to be something I can play on speakers,
which puts swamp right out of the picture, ---- besides there are already far
too many good audio reviews and such on swamp anyway.

As for The Gate, since I had trouble with the demo and don’t even own the game
itself I probably wouldn’t do one for that any time soon, especially with the
need to play on speakers which in such a difficult game as The gate could be
asking for trouble.

Sorry to be disappointing.

All the best,

Dark.

Hi Dark, you should do one on Swamp next or maybe The Gate, but please please
please, a billion times please, remember to play with headphones not on
speakers lol.  I hated seeing you die in mota, it broke my heart.

I do however love your voice and your style of presenting, I let my sister hear
the opening to the podcast and she cracked up laughing at the opening music
saying it sounded like a cheerful hamster dancing a jig.  Now I think about it,
it would make a funny ring or text tone, the kind which would so get on
someone's nerves on a train if turned up loud.

Hi Lori.

Yes, I confess I  particularly miss Tom with me having  got  married last year
since over on the audeiogames.net forum we often discussed relationships etc,
and I really would’ve liked to tell him about things, especially with me
married to a yanky 😃.

I really ought  to see about doing another one of my castings of the pod about
something or other,  possibly the Cog or hg games, though again time and
motivation and all of those things 😃.

All the best,

Dark.

Thanks Dark, wow I didn't even know that page was out there, I thought the
asmodean site had just dropped for some wierd reason and was worried it'd had
been hacked.  I listened to your podcast with the 3 audio game reviews, and
although I enjoyed it emencely, it's made me feel a bit sad again that Thomas
Ward is no longer around.  anymore.  I even wish I still had that beta demo of
TH to play, but it's on my old old old computer, and as I'm on my old computer
at the moment, I've no way of reaching it.  I wondered who the girl's voice was
in TH, the one playing Angela Carter?  I sure miss that game.

Hi Lori.

No need for dropbox on this occasionsince the audiogames archive has everything
covered.

You can find all of Raul’s recordings on

Also, if you check out the recordings page you’ll find some other good stuff
(plus some podcasts by none other than yours truly).

It’s actually a great resource.

All the best,

Dark.

Hi guys, I just tried to find the audio game recordings someone very
kindly sent me, the ones done by Raul Gallegos from the Asmodean
website, but for some reason the folder hasn't coppied properly to my
dropbox, and as I can't remember who sent me them to begin with, I was
wondering if anyone had them and could dropbox them to me, so I can copy
and paste them to my recordings folder in dropbox where they should have
been in the first place if my dropbox hadn't went all over the place lol.

I'm not sure what's wrong with the asmodean site, it looks like all the
content is gone, but there's no file 504 not found message, just some
wierd domain links which don't make sense to me.

Hope someone can help, as I could really do with a chuckle at all those
old Pipe2 recordings again.

Thanks from Lori.
