Apologies if this is answered already.
I'm just returning from a week without email and would rather get an answer to
this out before I forget.
This is not a 7zip issue. Specifically, its being caused by attempting to edit
the program files directory under windows 10.
Ron: extract tdv to somewhere such as your documents folder. Program files
requires any and all applications that attempt to write have administrator
permission, which 7zip generally does not.
Similarly, tdv will not have admin rights, and you will likely have issues as a
result.

Ron,
7 zip updated it's program in 2015.
If you have an older version it will not unzip current 7z files.
Check when you got 7 zip.

  Hi Phil.
  Tried your advice.
  I made the folder
  3 D velocity inside the c:\program files (X86) folder.
I had then copied the zip folder over to the new folder.
Tapped my applications key and went down to 7 zip since I do have it
installed, went to to extract I tried to extract the files to
  c:\program files (X86)\3 d velocity.
  I still received the error
  Access is denied.
  Can not create output directory.
  c:\program files (x86)\3 d velocity\tdv-compiled\
Then you get the ok button.
Now how do I get passed this error?
Because I had tried your instruction both with the UAC on and also turned off.
Thanks for trying to help me out Phil.
Ron who still can not fly via TDV.

  Ron,
  tdv-compiled.7z
is a zipped file from 7zip.
You need to download and install, 7 zip first.
  http://www.7-zip.org/download.html
Once installed it adds items to your context key, the one to the right of the
spacebar.
You can create a folder for the game then copy
  tdv-compiled.7z
  inside it.
Then move to the file and hit the context key then arrow down to 7 z sub menu
and hit enter. Choose extract. here or extract files.

    Hello to all.
    I down loaded the
    tdv-compiled.7z
    Folder.
I went inside the zip folder and saw the
    Three-D-Velocity-compiled

So I went inside there and found the tdv.exe file.
I then went to my c:\program files (X86) folder and made the folder 3 d
velocity.
I then went back and found the tdv.exe file.
I tapped my applications key to copy the tdv.exe file over to the new
folder to hopefully be able to launch the game.
Here’s the error that I received.
One can not open output file access is denied.
    Then the path is
    C:\program files (X86)\3 d velocity.
Now do I need to just attempt to copy the tdv exe file to the new folder
which is what I just tried, or all of the files with in this folder over to the
new folder to be able to launch the tdv program.
Can anyone please help me out?
    Many Thanks.
    Ron Kolesar
