You could return to the study and read the book, that may provide a clue. 
At this point once you have all masks including the tattered mask on the 
mirror there are different ways to end the game.  By now you should have 
entered the lab and done some things in there too.  If you haven't maybe 
the book will give you some idea what to do in the lab.
