There's also a boss mob at the end of the whole area (don't remember if she is optional or not) that is going to give you trouble. She's fame though, and if you are running a druid, there is an item that she carries that you will want (though you might have to farm it if you are unfortunate enough to be screwed over by Alter's terrible randomization code).
