Just a note here and food for thought.
Instead of Amazon, If you went google assistant, more devices would
theoretically get it. Google home, android, android tv. And google has much
better conversation skills than Alexa imho.

This kind of data is very difficult to get.  From my last survey, there was
very little demand.
I do get bugged by Amazon to move the games to alexa, but it's a non-trivial
project, and amazon has not come up with a way charge money for for alexa apps.
What might make sense is for me to work with the rs games guys and set up a
kickstart campaign to hire someone to do it.
I went through the tutorials, and while it's not difficult, it would end up
taking 2 to 3 months to do it right, including the learning curve.

I’m hoping that if he ends up deciding to go the Apple TV route that he can do
some exploratory research in to the saturation of Apple TV’s in the Blind and
VI market.
That would be an indicator of whether or not it’s even worth pursuing.
I realize I might be getting ahead of myself a bit, but.. Hey. What can I say.

It’s one of those “catch 22”s.  I realize both sides of the coin.

I do agree with you, but keep in mind supply vs. Demand.
If you only plan on selling 50 units of a product, you need to charge more for
it to make up the difference in cost vs. something that will move 1000 units.
It’s just part of doing business and trying to make a profit or at least break
even.

My first thought is that, from a gamer’s standpoint, the price should be the
same for both.

I actually recoded Blindfold Bowling to use Apple physics engine instead of the
other one I was using, and then purchsaed a new Apple TV, both about 18 months
ago.  Then I got distracted.  SInce very few people own Apple TV's, I would
have to make it about $20 to $30.  Is that too much?

Marty.
It might be a cool avenue to explore. A lot of people bemoan the fact that
there are very few accessible game choices for the Apple TV. I’m not sure how
all the gestures would translate to the tiny remote, but it’s still a super
neat idea.

No, I haven't done anything for apple tv.  I meant to, but never got around to
it.
