Does a hero’s call also work with NVDA? Or will I have to shut NVDA off? NVDA
is my primary screen reader.

Hello,
Yes you will need to put JAWS to sleep or exit out of it when playing the game.
If you don’t the arrow keys won’t work to move you thru menus and things.

Hi. You may want to disable jaws completely while playing and stick to using
SAPI. I’m unsure if this will solve all the issues, but I wonder if perhaps
keyboard input is being intercepted by Jaws. It has a nasty hhabbit of doing
this.

Subject: [blind-gamers] A Heroe's Call Speech Output Question

Hi,
My husband and I are both trying to play A Hero's Call on separate
computers.  We unlocked the game with our account info.
However, not all elements of the game are read.  For example, when I use the
arrow keys to select my character's attributes, no voice output can be
heard.
I tried switching between JAWS and Windows Sapi by pressing Ult O with no
results.
Any suggestions for how to fix this or ideas for what we are doing wrong?
Thank you.
Christina
