Did the ring just...gone? Like, you don't see it on her anymore?
That's strange, cause at least for me, I did get it to work- sort of. Once
in combat, if she's wearing the ring, she gains an option called summon
ancestor, that spell will summon the ghost who gave her the ring and add him
as a party member in that battle. Once battle's over, he vanishes again and
has to be re-summoned next fight.
Personally I ahven't seen that to be worse it though. The ghost has very low
combat speed, so he barely ever does anything at high level, and that ring's
taking up the slot where a much more powerful ring could've been.

Currently I got Gwen outfitted with a pair of arcaster rings and a lightning
blade that combine to boost her chain lightning to ridiculous level lol.

Hello,
Gwennie's so cute with her combative character, but I can't make her
ancestor to work for some reason. When she wears the ring, it should have
worked, and I did put the ring on her, but from then on the ring seems to
have disappeared. Am I skipping or missing something?
Best!

Hi Johnny, that ancestor of Gwens definitely does do some damage in battle.
He helped me out while taking on the hydras! Though he could stand to have a
speed boost by the devs so he does act more frequently in combat.

I've unlocked Gwen's summon ancestor feature, but... I summoned him in
battle, he doesn't seem to do anything?
I even wasted quite a few rounds, letting my party members do pointless
things, taking all kinds of abuse from our enemies, just hoping to see the
old dude move, but...nope, his idea of "join the adventure" appears to be
just show up to cheer us on from the side.
Is that feature...broken, or does the guy actually do something?
