this also sounds great.

Here's my 2 cents on what my "ideal" ios fishing game would be like.
You'd start with so many bait worms. You either have to purchase more when
you run out, using game money, or wait for real time for them to regenerate-
you can also choose to donate to the game for more worms, or better baits-
pike fishing for example, requires frogs.

Fish you catch can be sold at game store for money. Depending on the type of
fish, you may get very little money or a lot- salmon would be great, same
with tuna, but those would most likely require heavier lines, sturdier rods
and better baits- all of which you need to save up game money to buy.

When you catch a fish, you can also tap on it to see a description- if need
be I can help provide those, I made the fishing function for the
cyberassault game so I have no shortage of descriptions.

The River Monsters documentary show wiki would be a great starting research
point too BTW.

Game would have various locations and molds- such as stream, river, deep
lake, swamp, ocean. You can also fish from the shore, or if with enough game
money, fish from a boat wich will yield larger catch with higher chances.

Game mechanics:

To bait the rod, simple pick the bait from your bait box and double tap on
it to get it on the hook.
Once you have purcahsed different gear, you can also select the rod and line
this way.

To cast: swing the phone up and back and then snap it forward. How far the
cast can be determined by the motion itself.

Once you cast the line out, you can gently move the phone to make the bait
drift in the water- good for catching predatory fish.

To reel: do the rottor motion with two fingers on screen.

When there's a fish on the line, you'll feel vibration on the phone- the
bigger the fish, the more vigorous the vibration.
When you feel the vibration, you need to give the phone a jerk to set the
hook, and then try to reel it in.

If you don't set the hook fast enough, you lose your bait and the fish's
gone.

As you reel, you may feel the vibration becoming more jerky as the fish
fights against you.

The fish will have a chance to escape during the setting of the hook, the
reeling in, depending on the gear used versus the type/size of fish- with a
bit of random factors in there just for curses and giggles.

Hey, Marty.

Here is a description of a hunting and fishing game that would be
similar to Cabela games.

1. The game needs to have challenges on it just like in real life.
2. The game needs to let you fish and hunt in all four seasons of the
year such as spring, summer, fall and winter.
3. The game needs to be able to have different areas such as woods,
mountains, lakes and rivers.
4. The game needs to let you pick between hunting and fishing or do both.
5. The game needs to have two modes such as free play where you can
hunt or fish when you want.
The other mode would be a career mode where you have to hunt and fish
for what the game says to go get.
6. There needs to be a store to be able to use game money to purchase
different gear for the different weather and areas.
