I know.  I've used GnuPlot off and on for the past twenty five years.  I
say it's effectively unmaintained because it's pretty much already got
everything that a graph renderer needs; barring a handful of esoteric and
largely useless features, I'd be hard pressed to find much to add to it.

Why exactly does Marvin need the contact details for the developers?  What
is he trying to do?  There's almost certainly an easier way to do whatever
he wants to do than modifying the gnuplot source code.
