No sound, and no mud. You play this on your local machine. Your screen reader produces what sounds come from the game as a result of reading text. You start out on the town screen after giving a character name which has three types of characters. Letters which are monsters who would like to chew on your face and other parts. The period character which is open ground, and numbers which are locations to enter. You enter those with upper-case E and except for the dungeon which is 8 and volcano which is 9 you use escape key to leave the others. You got a sick daughter at home and 10,000 moves to first get enough experience in the dungeon; next sell gems at bank, next upgrade equipment at D&D store, and next enter the volcano to find the potion that will cure your daughter. I think there's another mission after that one, but I've never lived long enough to find out. It's a top down view game like nethack and rogue and hack if you've ever played those. In the dungeon, the # character is a wall and though looking with : and ^searching for traps with ^ are supported, no long searching is done in this game like in nethack. I haven't figured out how to wear rings yet but I'm working on that.
