You know, to be honest I rarely use the self buffing and enemy debuffing moves, unless I'm in a situation where my attacks are next to useless. The exception are things like sleep and confuse and paralyze, those I'll use, or one of my manamon has a team buff that could be useful in certain situations. But normally, I don't want to waste turns on stat modifiers. I love it when the enemies do though, less damage!

It's a pain trying to get levels just right. I am seriously wondering
if I should keep using this tadpole thing. Splash seems to kind of
suck. A guide for Manamon 2 would be nice at some point. I feel like I
am missing some of the sweet items. Someone mentioned finding nets in
the art museum but I don't see them. I did the first stadium, I won
but I did sort of bad, so decide to reload, and go level up a couple
Manamon a bit. Really think I am going to purchase this one very soon.

Well, keep in mind that in general, there's a level check for damage,
too. Leveling up your team, all of them, should cut damage down by quite
a bit. I doubt you're gonna get 5k health on anything unless you grind
for weeks, though.

I haven't gotten to the music guy yet though.

I can tell you the ghost hyper guy was fairly easy with my 6 level 25s.

To be honest, I am seriously thinking about restarting the game, and
going for the laverog, followed by the 2 rock manamon I got at the
start instead of 1.

It also seems that maybe I should spend time capturing a few more and
then leveling them up.

Right now I have managed to beat stadiums 1 and 2 with little effort,
then handled 3 hypers though the 3rd was a bit difficult though get
him phasing between my strongest units and keep attacking with the
same attacks and I got him.

Now my issue is with the musical one.

My strongest mobs can probably kill him but every time I bust through
one of his web barriors, the snapback due to tention dammage causes me
to lose a unit.

I know what the colour of the webs do but it doesn't seem to matter,
attacking at any point causes dammage, of course with the webs down I
can do massive dammage, but unless I have a way to put a million
points on my units, its not likely I can even get past him.

It also seems that once I hit shaddow canion I lose at least partly
the ability to go back to just before and half my items drop as the
machine doesn't sell everything.

The music monster isn't that hard, my units are doing massive dammage
but so does he and he is a really tough customer.

I really do hope we get gammanets or something there are all sorts of
nature and other net types but who knows.

Also what do I do with the pies I get in a quest, I can't eat them
which I just don't know about.

Its a pitty, but I have been getting a good run so far.

Seeing the way water mons can do massive dammage, I am seriously
thinking about restarting with water instead of fire, as the big mons
in stadium2 can do massive dammage with water, and so maybe I should
restart with water.

Right now, unless I can either get more health or put in more power to
my guns I am out gunned.

Its a pitty you can't use something like dedelous dust to jump past
something not just out of something, I'd like to leave that music boss
alone till I have enough power if I could get a unit with like
5000-12000 health I may have enough to handle him.

As it is doing 50-80 points a time while it does cause dammage isn't
enough, I have mannaged to shave half my health off but lost everything.

Then again, I havn't really trained a 6 strong team, only 2 of them
are reasonably good.

I was hoping to avoid grinding, as that is what pulled me off of
manamon1 and bk3 and stuff like that.

Grinding is really boring and while I am happy to do it some what, I
really don't care to use it continuously.

Hello,

It seems that we are both more or less at the same place.
I'm trying to find a good team for the stadium because right now I
only have a single manamon that makes a good fit for shadows and
ghosts. My main team has levels between 19 and 25.
Before going to the stadium, there's something else to do in a
building on the south-east, though.
