I can't help you with the joystick, but you can get the game just by
downloading it from gitHub.
Given the issue I described though, you may want to wait until someone
here can help us figure out if it's real or not.

Hi list,
I just downloaded the latest commit of TDV, and am having a significant issue
with the audio: anything that's supposed to move in the world (enemies,
missiles, race turn markers, etc.) plays only in the left ear, regardless of
where it actually is: right turns or fighters in front all sound like they're
90 degrees to the left.
Has anyone on here encountered this, and if so, do you know of a solution? I've
experienced this on two different computers, using a completely fresh copy of
the game.
