archlinux has all of them available including tintin-alteraeon which
allows you to play any other mud you'd like and even advertises another
different mud when you run tintin-alteraeon. If you have archlinux
installed maybe use the talkingarch iso or the tarch iso or the Jenux
iso you'll want to install the surfraw package and run
surfraw-update-path --add in your user directory to enable it partly.
Then you would want to select the browser for surfraw. This can be done
in ~/.config/surfraw/conf. man surfraw has the details. Once you've
done that after a reboot to enable surfraw run aur pikaur-git and
download the snapshot and PKGBUILD. Then run makepkg -si in the
directory where PKgBUILD lives to build pikaur-git. Once that's done
make sure git is installed, which git should return its path and
location. If yes, try pikaur -Ss nethack and pikaur -Ss zapm and then
do pikaur -S nethack zapm to get those two and install them.
For tintin-alteraeon git clone
https://github.com/lilmike/tintin-alteraeon
When that's finished cd tintin-alteraeon and then type tt++ aa.tin to
start that mud. crawl is also available on any of those three versions
of archlinux I wrote about above. Jenux does most of the install for
you and it helps to turn speech off and back on to check the screen when
that's happening. The info for jenux is:

wget -bc
https://nashcentral.duckdns.org/projects/Jenux-2020.02.03-x86_64.iso.sha512
wget -bc https://nashcentral.duckdns.org/projects/Jenux-2020.02.03-x86_64.iso
sha512sum -c Jenux-2020.02.03-x86_64.iso.sha512

Those four lines above are linux commands that can be run to download
the iso.
Then you need to burn it and if possible verify it before trying to
install from it.
