Well I am not sure about online for sighted and blind, but the kitchensinc games probably can be done as long as you have a master that plays, and either a <insert voice conferencing solution here>

I started with the monopoly, poker, casino and other games with my brother and friends live in the same location and also via a 3 way call system one of my friends had at the time over the now largely defuncked analog phone copper network so it is possible.

And I was able to play these types of games without a modem back in 96 to about 2003.

Next, the jackbox collection games can be played the first series at any rate on the pc and later on with the accessibility of the xbox consoles and the fact jackbox party packs can sync with the web online, I mean liamerven does it and its pritty much an anyone of any ability or age as long as they have the equipment can rock up and play it.

Next crazy party, rsgames, and the quentin c game room can be played for those that do that sort of thing.

Again a stream to youtube or twitch and or a voice conferencing solution would work well here.

Next www.midimusicadventures.com has a lot of stuff I did with its host from about 2010 to 2014 and it can be done as long as you can discribe things and there are games with choices and then you pole to that voice software or a teamtalk or whatever server and ask users what to do or even other messenging clients or whatever so these can be played.

Obviously if you are the blinky you do need to listen to everything like its a multichoice audio drama and play it like that.

If you are a good dj like andrew is on midimusic adventures and have the cash like he had at the time to buy almost any game he wanted then its certainly possible to play just about anything in that reguard.

Most of those were seeriera type games and the like but well a lot of those could be done as long as they had some voice dialog.

So within reason there are games you can play or a sightling or team can play with you or a team of you blind people playing it if they are good enough.

In fact any board or card etc game can be played by anyone.

Any trivia game to as long as someone can access the questions.

And with the alexa stuff and google stuff there are games you can play that are audio reminding you of yesteryear.

If its just games you can play yourself though, any blind spaciffic game in my experience will not be for the sightling universe.

I have had friends back in the day at church that have tried to adapt and have enjoyed it but most of my friends won't touch any screen reader games because screen readers just don't get their vibe and suck and anyway no graphics means it must be a really crappy game!

And to be honest I am not begrudging them for that, there are more graphics than sound and we can't make as many things as they can.

True with exception of games like a heroes call and the last of us part 2 I could see a way at least single player games can be played but with openworld games and multiplayer a large amount of the sightling world is inaccessible to us.

What needs to happen is that all blind spaciffic games include audio games need to if not die, just stop and we should all switch to the mainstream.

Its the sightling companies that will have the cash for us to play on an equal footing.

And while we will always have audiogames, I don't think any of them will actually catch up at least not in my lifetime.

Now don't get me wrong, we do have multiplayer to a point, and music, sound and the like but there are limits to what we can do.

With some mainstream companies coming on board we are making huge steps where the difference between an audio game for the blind and a sighted game will eventually make no  difference.

But its not just us, other disability groups are in the same situation as we are especially the multiples.

I suspect that what may actually happen is that everyone that is disabled will either die off or not be in the future.

Or put it this way, if we put as much into making disability going away than we are into gaming then we wouldn't be having this conversation or at least a different conversation.

For example, I am one of the last of those with my type of retena detatchment.

Yes there are a few still but its a lot less.

So when I die, no more or not as many will come after me.

That is a small confort that at least for the next generation, that problem will not be there.

They can't cure the current generation but with better detection my issue can be mostly mitigated.

That at least gives me the hope that in the future, if we can avoid disabling conditions then we will probably do so.

Audiogames may just be that, a part of history in the middle and never expand much and thats ok.

Mind you I could be completely rong and things may increase.

I mean alexa means sightlings have to play audio games and use their minds to play.

Assuming all games stay largely graphic, and there is no rule they won't.

Hi, What games are there out there that can be played on the PC by multiple
players where they can help each other out? I know Swamp and Castaways are 2,
but are there any others?

I remember alter Eon (played via a Mudd client) I think that had a sound pack,
are there any others with sound packs that can be played by multiple players.

Cheers
