Sorry, I wasn't trying to be a jerk, just to point out that it wasn't necessarily a BGT thing in this case.
Speaking as somebody who (I think) did play up that far though,
it was to see how fast I could get the guy to cross the road: if I
could just get enough of those speedups it would have been...
spectacular.
