I agree. If you have weaker units they don't do as much damage and in
turn absorbs less damage before dying. A third of my army was also
generally healers. Valkyries are useful if you have enough healers and
knights / marauders.
My advice is to return quickly when you see more than 3 wounded units
and to not be too out numbered.
