Hi again from Cynthya. Tried sevceral suggested MUDs people
recommended and may I please ask for what else I might also try?
So far Lensmoor is still my all-time dave fame, but still so few
playing I hop on and often don't find any of the people I'd like to play with
or even enough to do the stufff I'd like, if only I could finally figure out
how to attract new players?
I've tried Erion, so far it's taking me forever to even get started and
so far it seems a little grindier and more complicated for newbies than I'm
feeling ready to handle.
I've tried Ateraan for a couple weeks now. I thought crafting was a
thing. No, only if you can copy and paste and do some things which a blind
person playing via smart phone can't do. Odd thing is so many blind people
play. I like much fo the game, though the drama between characters is starting
to fray my last nerve when it comesa up.
I made an account on Clok, but no idea how to even get started, anyone
here play so maybe I could get a pointer or two?
Otherwise I'll restate what am looking for. Want a game which has a
reasonably sized (not desert island!) player population where I'm never likely
to not have other people to play with, where people get along and are friendly
and open-minded and which is pretty accessible to blind people. I'm looking
for games where combat and magic are part of the game rather than the grind
fests i keep finding. I want a game where I can make some thing sometimes,
where i can do even a tenth part of the crafting and remaking trhings I dso on
Lewnsmoor. I want a game where there's a lot of good story and character
interaction. I want interesting races, weirder the better. I'd rather play a
classless gamer, but long as classes are not rigid I'll try most thing.
Any further ideas please? I'm really feeling still at a loss most of
the time as a legally blind gamer, and this list is the one place people
listen, so any ideas welcome please.
