Just to add to that, the issue seems to be Steam Guard and entering the code. For circumstantial reasons Ron can't use Steam Mobile Authenticator. We tried the hitting Enter, pasting the code, then hitting Enter that a tutorial suggested. If anyone has specific info on getting past Steam Guard with JAWS or NVDA, that would be most helpful.

Best,
Patrick

Hello, once again, from Ron Kolesar.

First, of all, I want to thank Pat for attempting to help me out.

But with Pat’s help we failed to get the desktop icon to work.

Can anyone help me to get the desktop icon to work?

I was able to do the following though:

1 I was able to install the steam program.

2 2. I was able to enter in the properties of the steam desktop icon.

3 3. I was able to add the information that we need that is suppose to make the steam icon and
 the steam program accessible.

4 When I go to launch the steam via the desktop icon, I receive a huge page full of unlegible
 text.

5 That’s where I need help with to understand it.

6 I’m on the east coast.

7 So, if anyone can help me out?

8 I’d deeply appreciate it.

9 Please e-mail me at:

11 E-mail me privately and I’ll give you my phone number.

12 Many thanks to those who can help me out.
