Hi there, now that things are coming back to people being out more
these days I want to get back into in-person tabletop gaming. I love both my
MUD (thank you folks for pointing me to New Worlds: Ateraan) and the d&d group
I play via zoom each week, but I miss people in person badly, and I got Braille
dice just in time to only ever use em the once. I live in Suffolk County on
Long Island in NY. I was playing at Brothers Grimm, the shop nearest me, but I
cannot seem to find the email of the DM there, the people who answrr their
phones act like tabletop gaming was never invented and their website is
wrecked. I don't know any gamers in my region, the ones I know moved away.
And thing is, the bus system in my county cuts off at 8:30pm. I ned some good
ideas on things please. I will call my local library tomorrow morning, though
they weren't hosting anything recently. Does anyone know how I might find a
basic place to play tabletop with people in person and maybe even make some new
friends now that so many of mine moved away? -- thanks, Cynthya
