Use SAPI instead. If you have NVDA, you might also be able to use
one of the bridges to get the game working that way if it doesn't
by default - but that's a pretty fiddly process and I wouldn't
recommend it unless you know what you're doing.

It also works with most screen readers (I only use NVDA so can't offer any other anecdotes) as well as SAPI.
