Hi all, figuredf I'd ask here. I am looking to replace a couple
Braille D&D dice. I had a former friend 3d print me a set of each type of die.
Problem is that when the bag fell off a coffee table the d12 kinda shattered
and the d10 got chipped lots. I have tried and failed to get acceptable
replacements since.
I tried shapeways. They're where you're supposed to be able to buy 3d
printed Braille dice. I paid $26 for a single d12, and besides not being
easily able to figure out where the orienting bar (so I'll know which end is
up) like on the other set, they messed ip Braille! The K for 11 is an M for a
13 on a d12, and the L for 12 is a V. Asked if they could make me a better
one, never heard anything cept "we'll contact the designer" which was two
months ago. I can sort of use that one but is a pain.
I have a d12 and d10 which are not accessible but are the right size to
make Braille labels on my label-gun, but they do not stick for more than an
hour.
May I please ask folks on this list what 6ou might recommend so I got
physical dice when I just want to roll some? -- Thanks, Cynthya
